What is SCAHD?________

The Southern California Association for Healthcare Development is a not-for-profit organization for healthcare and hospital development professionals in Southern California. SCAHD, working in cooperation with the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), is dedicated to preserving and improving the high professional standards of its members. SCAHD keeps abreast of current healthcare associations by providing comprehensive educational programs and resources for professional career development. trends and challenges for both its members and healthcare associations.

Who are SCAHD Members?_____

Members represent over 150 healthcare facilities in Southern California from Santa Barbara to San Diego. SCAHD members must be resource development professionals in health-related fields.

How does SCAHD help Southern California Healthcare Organizations?

Concerned with the advancement of philanthropy, senior members of SCAHD are available to meet with healthcare administrators to review the potential of establishing a development program. This service is free and entails no obligation.

SCAHD also promotes the importance of philanthropy, volunteerism, and the role of not-for-profit institutions in Southern California as well as encourages new development programs in these organizations.

Through its meetings, programs and seminars SCAHD educates its members in a wide variety of development programs. These programs include:
